Impact Overview
March – June 2026
Over four months, the End Homelessness Fund portfolio expanded access to permanent housing, strengthened homelessness policy, increased food security, and created new pathways to economic stability. Together, participating nonprofits opened new affordable housing communities, advanced landmark legislation, expanded workforce development, and mobilized thousands of volunteers and community members to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Permanent Housing Development & Placement
Organizations expanded access to stable housing through new affordable developments, supportive housing partnerships, and permanent housing placements. Abode Services opened Eucalyptus Grove Apartments, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless broke ground on Park Avenue Apartments and partnered with the Denver Housing Authority on future supportive housing, while organizations collectively helped thousands of people move toward long-term housing stability.
Legislative Advocacy & Policy Change
Colorado Coalition for the Homeless led significant policy victories by securing passage of all three 2026 legislative priorities, advocating for stronger housing protections, reducing medical debt barriers, and mobilizing supporters at both the state and federal levels.
Food Access & Basic Needs
Hopelink, Chapman Partnership, and Colorado Coalition for the Homeless expanded access to nutritious food, hygiene supplies, and emergency services. Community food drives, mobile food markets, and outreach programs helped meet immediate needs while supporting long-term stability.
Workforce Development & Economic Mobility
Organizations invested in helping individuals achieve financial independence through workforce training, career development, mentoring, and financial education. Chapman Partnership’s Security D License Certification Program and Hopelink’s employment and financial literacy initiatives strengthened pathways out of homelessness.
Volunteer & Community Engagement
Thousands of volunteers, donors, and community partners supported housing, food security, and fundraising efforts throughout the quarter. Events including Journey Home Breakfast, Can Madness, and Take a Walk in Her Shoes demonstrated the power of community investment in ending homelessness.
Organizational Growth & Strategic Partnerships
The portfolio strengthened long-term impact through strategic partnerships and organizational growth. Abode Services announced its merger with Bay Area Furniture Bank, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless expanded housing partnerships, and nonprofits cultivated new collaborations to increase services and community impact.
