Over four months, the Environmental Action Fund portfolio advanced clean water access, climate innovation, ecosystem restoration, and environmental resilience across four continents. Together, participating nonprofits expanded access to safe water, accelerated clean energy policy, restored critical habitats, empowered youth conservation leaders, and strengthened climate science and community-driven environmental solutions worldwide.

Clean Water Access & WASH Services
Surge for Water expanded safe water, sanitation, hygiene, and menstrual health programs across Indonesia, Uganda, and Haiti, reaching more than 117,000 people, constructing new water infrastructure, and bringing clean water to communities for the first time.
Clean Energy Policy & Climate Action
Clean Air Task Force advanced geothermal, nuclear, methane, and industrial decarbonization policies across the United States, Europe, and emerging economies through research, legislative advocacy, and international partnerships.
Youth Conservation & Community Resilience
Groundwork USA celebrated 15 years of its National Service Corps at Yellowstone while expanding urban microforests, green infrastructure, and youth workforce programs that improve community resilience and environmental health.
Biodiversity & Ecosystem Restoration
Friends of the Osa strengthened conservation efforts in Costa Rica by restoring wildlife habitat, supporting species reintroduction, and engaging local communities in protecting one of the world’s most biodiverse regions.
Regenerative Land & Ocean Stewardship
GreenWave, Trees, Water & People, and Unite to Light advanced sustainable agriculture, kelp restoration, community forestry, and clean energy access, helping communities build long-term environmental and economic resilience.
Climate Science & Environmental Research
Woodwell Climate Research Center expanded public engagement through its Not A Climate Scientist podcast while advancing global methane monitoring research and climate science that informs environmental policy worldwide.
