March – June 2026
Over four months, the LGBTQIA+ Support Fund portfolio strengthened crisis intervention, defended civil rights, expanded community organizing, and advanced legal protections for LGBTQIA+ people. Together, participating nonprofits provided life-saving mental health services, secured important legal victories, elevated research on LGBTQ+ youth wellbeing, and strengthened grassroots movements during a rapidly evolving policy landscape.

Crisis Intervention & Mental Health Support
The Trevor Project continued providing 24/7 crisis intervention services across phone, text, and chat while supporting hundreds of thousands of LGBTQ+ youth. New research highlighted the growing mental health impacts of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation and reinforced the need for accessible crisis care.
Legal Advocacy & Civil Rights Protections
Transgender Law Center secured significant legal victories protecting transgender people’s rights, including constitutional protections for identity documents in Montana, healthcare protections in federal court, and new shield laws safeguarding gender-affirming care.
Community Organizing & Leadership Development
Transgender Law Center expanded grassroots organizing through leadership development, regional organizing, and its inaugural Building Trans Power conference, bringing together hundreds of advocates to strengthen long-term movement infrastructure.
Research, Education & Public Awareness
The Trevor Project released its landmark 2025 National Survey of more than 16,000 LGBTQ+ young people while publishing additional research on identity, discrimination, and mental health. Together with educational resources from Transgender Law Center, the portfolio expanded evidence-based advocacy.
Pride Campaigns & Community Fundraising
Pride Month generated significant public engagement through corporate partnerships, fundraising campaigns, and community giving. Together, nonprofits secured new investments supporting crisis services, legal advocacy, and LGBTQ+ community programs nationwide.
Visibility & Cultural Representation
The portfolio celebrated milestones that increased LGBTQ+ visibility across culture, media, and sports, while highlighting transgender leaders, artists, and advocates whose achievements reinforced positive representation during Pride Month.
