Patrick Murray

Patrick Murray retired in 2016 after a 30 year career at Intel Corp where he held a variety of engineering, product planning, and global partnership & alliances roles. Since retirement, he’s put his time towards volunteering in education and his community, including service on 6 non-profit boards. He currently volunteers as an Adjunct Lecturer at NC State University’s College of Engineering and serves on the NC State Alumni Association Board of Directors. In 2024 he earned the Presidential Lifetime Service Award for volunteering over 4000 hours in education, and in 2026 was awarded the Meritorious Service Award from NC State for contributions to his profession, community, and NC State. Outside of his volunteer work, he loves to explore new places with his wife Michelle and their 3 adult children.
